08 June, 2010 - The Ladies European Tour has started the official bidding process for The 2015 Solheim Cup, the biennial transatlantic women’s match play golf tournament.

ENGLAND, Tuesday 18th May 2010 – Ladies  European Tour members Annika Sorenstam and Joanne Morley have been selected as  vice-captains for The 2011 European Solheim Cup Team by Captain Alison  Nicholas.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla., May 11, 2010 – LPGA players Juli Inkster and Sherri Steinhauer have been selected as assistant captains for the 2011 U.S. Solheim Cup Team by Captain Rosie Jones.

30th April 2010 - Tipperary Crystal has been appointed official crystal, glass and ceramics supplier of The 2011 Solheim Cup, the premier team match play competition in women's professional golf, which will be played at Killeen Castle in County Meath, Ireland from Sept. 23-25.
